Desert Flying At Krey Field

We moved the L-13 Blanik and the Jantar up to the high desert for the summer months. Krey field offers plentiful sand, dust, thermals, sink, and even deadly giant scorpions (don't sleep with these).

How many Cypress members does it take to assemble a glider?

1. We finally got the Blanik assembled with only one heatstroke victim!!	2. We found this scorpion under the tent in the morning after our campout.

	This is what it looks like at the beginning of the takeoff roll. Make sure all airvents are closed!
	In a few seconds, you're flying IFR (I Follow Rope).
	After flying blind, you rise above the dust and can actually see the tow plane.
